AT LEAST THE 2014/2015 UGANDA BUDGET IS NOT FOR POVERTY ALLEVIATION!
Talk of policies that impoverish the people and I show you Uganda’s 2014/2015 National budget. It is going to make Agricultural production more expensive, meaning that those who would survive on Agriculture will find it more expensive, and they may end up more into selling land and buying boda – boda’s. President Museveni having been in power for 28 years ought to do better, but looks like he is in for experimentation. Fuel is already very expensive, but more tax is being levied. Putting tax of paraffin for whatever reason is wrong.
The MPs who still want another term in Parliament have one big war to face, that is see that where tax has been put and it is to impoverish the people the more it is removed. Unlike the President whose tenure is difficult to shake, it is easy to replace any MP who does not measure up to the expectations of the people.
