IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET MANY UNEMPLOYED YOUTH INTO AGRICULTURE AS LONG AS THE TARGETED CAN HAVE AT LEAST HALF AN ACRE OF LAND.

When one thinks about boosting employment in Uganda, the area that comes to my mind is in Agriculture. The Government of Uganda should identify youth who can have access to half an acre of land or more and reside near that land. Government should then conduct an intensive residential induction course where the youth would be taken through how to manage various Agricultural enterprises that are viable given the areas where the land they are to use is located. Many youth would get viable employment and that would be a positive step forward given the unemployment levels in Uganda.
