WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THE MIGHTY IN UGANDA DECIDE THAT YOU WILL NOT ACCESS A COIN OF WHAT YOU HAVE LAWFULLY RAISED OUT OF THE COUNTRY?

After a frustration of 12 years fundraising but unable to access a coin of what I raised, in 2022 September when I got a donation of a plot of land and a house on, I decided to close the chapter of fundraising to Uganda given that other people ended up beneficiary. I am now happy in my small garden which is my office though I would be moving things in a bigger office in Namutamba parish helping the locals out of poverty. Thursday, 1st June I am carry cut grass to help mulch my garden. I just pray that God keeps me healthy and that the little donations which I get to sustain me keep coming. That is life in Uganda.
My fundraising efforts from 2010 to 2023 where I have not been able to access a coin are listed below: 1. http://williamkituuka.blogspot.com/2010/09/kind-appeal-for-moral-support-and_01.html?m=1 2. http://billkiwanuka.blogspot.com/2014/10/kiwanuka-kituuka-for-2016-uganda.html?m=1 3. http://kiwanukaofunityinafederateduganda.blogspot.com/2015/05/kiwanuka-kituukas-appeal-for-financial_7.html?m=1 4. https://communityeducators-uganda.blogspot.com/2020/06/welcome-to-community-educators-uganda.html?m=1 5. Namutamba Parish Local Economic Development Model. DO YOU KNOW WHERE NAMUTAMBA PARISH WOULD BE NOW? If only some people had not shared the monies I received in my fundraising appeals for President in 2010 and 2015, Namutamba Parish where I grew up would be a Centre of Excellence. 1. Namutamba Demonstration School would already be back to one of the leading schools in Uganda. 2. Namutamba would be popular for growing Organic food. 3. Namutamba would be getting local and foreign tourists in hundreds every week. 4. Namutamba cattle farmers would slowly be changing from having large herds to small zero grazing cattle with high returns. 5. Namutamba would be having tarmac roads linking many places. 6. Namutamba motorists would be having a reliable fuel station in the area. 7. Residents of Namutamba and its hinterland would no longer have to go to Mityana for their shopping, they would get 95% of their needs in Namutamba. 8. There would be extension agents virtually in all villages of Namutamba and organized marketing channels of the agricultural produce. 9. Namutamba Parish would boost of a Healthy Centre IV and expanding with services including: Ambulances; Surgery; Maternity; Eye-care; Dental and Primary Healthcare Services to mention some. 10. There would be at least one Demonstration Farm in each of the village of Namutamba Parish. 11. We would have a sports playground with prospects of being very competitive in Uganda. 12. We would try as much as possible to get people to work and change their wasted time in unproductive politics of parties to income generation. 13. We would by now be supporting Religious Organizations in their roles to promote morality which is the greatest problem of Uganda. 14. We would be sponsoring youth to train in vocational skills where such training is available and these would come back to Namutamba to boost the local economic development. You cannot believe, this plan has not taken off. It is now 12 years simply because of the moral decay, impunity and love for free things by those who are connected. Some of us have practical ideas and means to execute them, but we have people who think that they know a lot. Others use all sorts of unviable reasons to take what is due to the likes of myself. We are poor because we have some people with primitive thinking. Those who undertake primitive accumulation of wealth. If only God can intervene and I recover funds that were stolen by the so - called connected people, I can assure you, Namutamba Parish will turn into the Mecca of Uganda.

GOD CARES

For 12 years I fundraised from outside Uganda with the major objective of helping the development initiatives of Namutamba Parish. Unfortunately, the powers that be in Uganda denied me access to the funds I raised. Not sure of what to do, a miracle happen. One day in September 2022, I got a call to prepare to visit the site where a house had been built for me. I had never expected this. But God cares. On September 25, 2022 I moved into the house that had been donated to me. I immediately got determined to do some gardening at least to reduce on the requirement to buy food. It has not been easy, but God cares. I have health issues and unable to finance my treatment, but I am not disabled or bedridden. I am able to go to the garden and do some work. I have challenges: Many times I want seeds or seedlings, fertilizers, name them but when I don’t have the money to buy. There are chicken from the neighborhood which came and disorganize much of what I have done. I have no fencing to keep them off. There are people who look for shortcuts and use my compound. I need water throughout the year but have no money to construct a well as well as buy a big tank for water. All challenges apart, I am at my home, so I have a personal address. As long as we are alive whatever authority we possess, there is need for justice. I always wonder why it is me innocent Kituuka to suffer the injustice I am experiencing during the NRM time. But one thing which those who treat us unjustly is: God can never fail to pay them back. I know of people who played key roles in denying me what is due to me from 2010. As I write, some of those people are no longer. God did justice to them. They looked to enrich themselves from what is due to me, but God said: Enough is enough and their stories ended there. I would be in an office in Namutamba Parish, but as of now, my garden is my office and I love it.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DIE SOON GIVEN MY HEALTH ISSUE?

I realize that I have a health problem which seems to be growing with time given that I have not been able to get money from Uganda Government though the proceeds to my fundraising appeals below are nowhere to be seen. My preferred burial place would be Namutamba Parish where I grew up, and for which area I raised money that I have not been able to access. Should God determine to terminate me anytime now, those who know about me need to know that I will be buried in my plot of land 100 x 100ft. If funds are realized to buy some land in Namutamba Parish, then my remains could be exhumed to that location. My fundraising efforts from 2010 to 2023 where I have not been able to access a coin are listed below: 1. http://williamkituuka.blogspot.com/2010/09/kind-appeal-for-moral-support-and_01.html?m=1 2. http://billkiwanuka.blogspot.com/2014/10/kiwanuka-kituuka-for-2016-uganda.html?m=1 3. http://kiwanukaofunityinafederateduganda.blogspot.com/2015/05/kiwanuka-kituukas-appeal-for-financial_7.html?m=1 4. https://communityeducators-uganda.blogspot.com/2020/06/welcome-to-community-educators-uganda.html?m=1 5. IN LOVING MEMORY OF SAM SEMWANGA

I got to know Sam Semwanga in 1990. He was a staff of the then Kampala City Council (KCC) in the Revenue Department. Sam was a jolly and very social gentleman. I cannot forget the help he gave me when I found myself out of work in May 1991. Sam was there for me. He is one guy out of the few to whom I would share my problems on becoming jobless. Sam would get the money and help me out. I remember instance when I found him without physical cash, and he would go to the bank and get some money to help me. Sam was the type who would ring me, ask how I was doing, and on a number of occasions tell me to call on him for financial help. 4 years ago, on 13th January, 2019 the good Lord decided to call Sam while in South Africa where he had gone for a visit. There people who I treasured so much while alive and I greatly miss them as they are no more. Sam is one of them. He had a big heart for me. I pray that Sam Semwanga’s family gets comfort in the Lord for “He cares”. Sam I greatly miss you. May you keep Resting In Peace Daniel Muhumuza Nuweabine of KCCA wrote: “I worked with Sam as a colleague and later as his supervisor. His work ethic, integrity and love for colleagues, City and Country were hard to match. Money didn't bother him but accomplishments defined him. Public servants like him are truly rare these days. Thank you William for raising memories of Sam. May Sam continue to Rest in peace”. Patricia Nansubuga of KCCA wrote: “I happened to know the Late Ssemwanga in 2018. Sam was a jolly person, approachable, a person you would feel really comfortable around them. Sam always spoke his mind and most importantly, a do-gooder who encouraged others to do the same. I learnt so much from him and the little time we spent together were full of joy and happiness, a chatterbox as he always spoke about so many things including his old school life time. Sam encouraged me to work hard, develop myself socially and academically. We became so close towards the end of 2018 and I remember in December he called to say goodbye as he was hopping on a plane to South Africa for holidays, little did I know he was bidding farewell. Sam always beamed with pride whenever he spoke about me, my performance in the directorate of revenue and prayed for a promotion. He was indeed a special person and work colleague. I'm glad that we spoke extensively, laughed as always and bid ourselves that last good bye. Sam, you are greatly missed. May his family find solace in the Lord. Sam continue to Rest In Peace !”

THE TRAGEDY THAT BEFELL RTD COL. HON. CHARLES ENGOLA IS REGRETTABLE, HOWEVER, IT COULD HAVE BEEN GOD’S WARNING TO THOSE IN NRM GOVERNMENT WHO DO INJUSTICE TO UGANDANS.

I wish to take this opportunity to express my sympathy to Hon. Sam Engola following the tragic death of Rtd. Col. Charles Engola. Kitalo nnyo. My sympathy to all related to the Rtd. Col. Hon. Sam Engola, many are bothered to find out why the Body Guard of the Late State Minister got involved in the act that summarily took the Minister’s life. I am one of those who think that the Body Guard was not himself or was not alone at the time of committing the crime. I could say: “He was possessed by other powers. What makes me believe so is that after the guy shot in the air a number of times, he got back to his real self. He realized that the consequences of his act were punishable by execution. He immediately prepared himself to eventually finish his life off. At least the owner of the Salon is reported saying that the guy first went the side a Hardware, and then he turned back, told those in the Salon to move out and he shot himself. These developments specifically in Uganda are all driven by curses. At this time during the NRM Governance, there is a lot of injustice. However, the perpecuators of the injustice forget that nature and God are in control. Nature and God keep countering the wrongs by people in power in Uganda specifically. Some of these people have been so unjust to us, least bothered if the injustice were done to them. Sam Engola, I know you are in so much pain following the tragic death of Charles, however, I wish to request you to reach out to the President when you have recovered and tell him: “Your Excellency, it is now clear that God is punishing the NRM, and that goes to explain the death among other shortcomings being seen today. Tell him that there is need for justice if God is going to change his approach”. Sam, I got to know you under a Banker - customer relation around 1988 - 1991 when I was an Account Executive in the then Nile Bank. That time I performed roles that included being in charge of Administration, In charge Cash Department and Corporate Accounts. I lost my job in May 1991 over the Uganda Electricity Board (UEB) fake account which I did not open. Injustice has followed me since May 1991 to - date. Following my career problems, in 2010, an idea came to my mind that I contest in the 2011 Presidential race. I did not have funds, my head was my biggest asset. So, I worked on a Blog, also a Collection Account in the then Cairo International Bank. Deep within me, I knew that I would get resources to be able to run my campaign, at the same time I knew I could not win. However, at least I would contribute to ideas for a better Uganda, and at the same time have resources to start on the development initiatives in Namutamba Parish where I grew up. I eventually found out that there was a strategy that was meant to deny me access to funds I raised, and the scandal eventually got the name: Pension Scam. Some people have benefitted from my fundraising efforts having accessed funds due to me fradulently, and with the allegation that I did not receive funds. Sam, it is unfortunate that Uganda lost prematurely some of the big people who had roles in denying me what id due to me. The fact is: Nature and God cannot let this impunity go on unabated. Some people in authority in Uganda belief that they can practice impunity to whatever level not knowing that Nature and God are in control. I believe that no single Ugandan resident in Uganda has been able to raise an equivalent of the funds I have raised into Uganda from 2010 to 2022. However, given the impunity in Uganda, I am better categorized as a begger. I am in a house that was donated by a good Samaritan as it is no business of those who benefitted from my money whether I have a home of my own or not. Nothing pains me as much as having to wait for a taxi when I would be driving a decent personal care. When I am in poor health like now, I have to appeal to some people to help me financially. I now have a small garden since October 2022. However, can you imagine that I cannot personally raise money to pay someone to dig a well for me so that I am able to irrigate my plants in the dry season. I need a water tank, however, I have no resources to buy it. Hens are a nuisance in my garden. Some fencing would do miracles, but do I have money for it? Sam, I am one case among Ugandans whose case Nature and God cannot leave without revenge. It is simply inhuman the type of treatment I am going through, and I think the climate may change a bit if President Museveni made sure that I get what is due to me. The truth is: God and nature cannot leave my case with no revenge, and so far, some players in either being responsible for denying me what is due to me, or some of those who shared have since been called to the other world. I think as the country mourns the tragic death of Charles, I appeal to Sam to see the President about the injustice some of us are going through because it is simply unacceptable to Him.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET MANY UNEMPLOYED YOUTH INTO AGRICULTURE AS LONG AS THE TARGETED CAN HAVE AT LEAST HALF AN ACRE OF LAND.

When one thinks about boosting employment in Uganda, the area that comes to my mind is in Agriculture. The Government of Uganda should identify youth who can have access to half an acre of land or more and reside near that land. Government should then conduct an intensive residential induction course where the youth would be taken through how to manage various Agricultural enterprises that are viable given the areas where the land they are to use is located. Many youth would get viable employment and that would be a positive step forward given the unemployment levels in Uganda.
