WHAT ARE THESE POWER SHARING ARRANGEMENTS THE FDC IS PROPOSING?

I many times fail to understand my friends in Uganda. When you look at the petition filed by Hon. Amama Mbabazi, it makes a lot of sense. Though the judges may not have the courage to declare the Kiggundu announcement Null and Void, the FDC at this material time or even before should have been pre - occupied with helping the Amama Mbabazi side to get the evidence so that the exercise clearly shows the irregularities etc.

I for one have waited to see the tallied results as per the declaration forms, I have not seen them. I surely do not understand what is going on.

We need to have the voting exercise done transparently and I for one as of now still think that the Supreme Court will rely on the evidence as provided by the Amama Lawyers and declare the win by Museveni null and void, and instead give the guidelines to the electoral commission to be followed in conducting the election once again.

Before we are there, you hear someone talking about power sharing arrangements. it really disturbs

SCHOOLS NEED TO INVEST MUCH MORE TIME INTO PRACTICAL CAREER GUIDANCE OF STUDENTS.

I have recently been to the passport office at Kampala and could not believe the exodus of youth in need of travel documents.

Many of these youth are graduates of our schools, unfortunately, the have not had a hands on experience or touch on enterprises which could make their lives better without having to dream of getting some job outside Uganda.

When you image the amount of money these youth are to invest into their travel and related logistics you find that such an amount which may be in the region of shs 5m or more could help them start comfortably some enterprise locally.

it is our schools more so the secondary ones that can help these students.

if a child gets used to managing layers chicken at school, there is no reason why such a child cannot venture into managing layers for a livelihood.

One zero grazing cow at school fed by children can give them the necessary knowledge on managing such a cow for profits.

I for one learnt managing a tomato garden at primary school. I do not see why schools that may afford to get some little land cannot venture into practically getting the children manage this type enterprise.

Lastly, it is cheaper for a school to organize driving lessons for children who are 18 years and above. It is expensive learning to drive through commercial schools, yet today vehicles are common and a child could have chances of getting a job enhanced if he/she has the driving skill. 

 

Management of chicken at school when children get involved in the feeding, picking ages and cleaning is a skill they can easily take home to manage on their own.

 

 

 There is no reason why secondary schools cannot have cars which students can use to learn the driving skill

 A well managed tomato garden could give children the insight into running the enterprise profitably.

 Zero grazing cattle could be managed at school

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF GOVERNMENT TO ENSURE THAT AREAS WHERE CLAY HAS BEEN REMOVED ARE REFILLED

CAN THE GOVERNMENT OF UGANDA ENSURE THAT WHOEVER REMOVED CLAY FROM WHAT ARE CURRENTLY WATER BODIES HOLDING THE WATER WEED TAKES RESPONSIBILITY OF REFILLING THESE AREAS NEAR UGANDA CLAYS?

NEMA HAS NOT HELPED KAJJANSI GIVEN THE RECLAIMING OF SWAMPY LAND

 A gentleman referred to as John is greatly responsible for the works along Muchanga - bweya - Kajjansi Airstrip road.

In the photo, he has planted Eucalyptus trees which are not required in a swamp of the type he has planted them.

The trees in the past fell on electric wires and many households suffered the consequences.

There has been official communication to NEMA to do something about the works of a man called John who has encroached on the swamp along Bweya road before you get to Entebbe Airstrip.

It is unfortunate to see the abuse of the environment go on while the authorities do not do a thing about it.

This swamp land is being utilized for the works of a bricks factory which mostly makes maxpans.

The 1st image shows how the same man has planted Eucalyptus trees which are known for draining swamps. The same trees are a real havoc in case it rains heavily, the chances that these trees fall on power lines are many, and it has been witnessed before.

Hopefully, those in authority, if they love Uganda will ensure that this man's activities are put to a halt.
