Dear Sir/Madam,

RE: ISSUES ARISING FOLLOWING MY APPLICATION TO RE- KNEW MY PASSPORT ON FILE NO. INT/3162/90 IN THE NAME: WILLIAM KITUUKA KIWANUKA.

I submitted my application for the re – knewal of a travel document on Monday, March 14, 2016.  After the expiry of a month on April 15, 2016, I called at the Passport office to pick the document.  On arrival at the office I was told that my file had issues.  I called at Room 6.  I was told that the photos I submitted had been rejected.  Good enough I had some three photos on me and I gave them in.  Given the experience that a whole month elapsed without any knowledge that my application had issues, this morning I decided to call at the office to know whether this time the things were fine.  To get the shock of my life, I was told that this time a photocopy of my Transcript was needed to prove that I am an Economist.  I could not believe for two reasons:

1.      How come that issue was not identified in the 1^st place so that I was told the 1^st time I checked?

2.       I am not a new case, how come the Transcript was required now?

Let me pray that I am not being persecuted for my politics.

I have brought the Transcript to the office; hopefully, I will not call and find another issue.

THE LOVE FOR NEAR FREE MONEY BY SOME UGANDANS IS ONE REASON WHY MUSEVENI HAS BEEN IN STATE HOUSE FOR 3 DECADES.

Greed by some people has caused Ugandans problems.

The decision by a group of twelve musicians including Juliana Kanyomozi, Bebe Cool and Chameleon to release a song praising Museveni and supporting his bid for another term evoked a barrage of criticism against the artists. It can be remembered that TV footage showed the artists kneeling before the President to beg for money. This resulted into an offer of shs 400 million!

LORD MAYOR ERIAS LUKWAGO'S CHALLENGES AS HE PREPARES TO SWEAR IN

Among the many challenges of Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago are:
1. Gender balance which will Ser him come up with a woman Deputy Lord Mayor.
2. Getting the proposed Clock Tower Flyover construction a reality.

3. Managing the floods given the drainage problems.
4. Striking a balance between getting developments off ground vis a vis the fact that at times such are not in the interest of the electorate.
5. Getting to work well with the NRM Government whose leaders don't wish him the chair.

FOR THE MAKUBUYA'S,GOING TO LUWEERO BUSHES PAID OFF

At least the Mukwaya's cannot regret having gone to Luweero bushes. They have something to show.

Going to Luweero paid off for some people. However, majority are cursing.

WHERE DID HON. AMAMA MBAMAZI'S SUPPORTERS GO?

JUST ASKING:

Where did Hon. Maama Mbabazi's supporters go to?

Is it possible that they wanted to give him votes after he gave them money?

If so, money is playing a big role in earning Museveni votes that he would not have got from people not that poor.

If you want to appreciate that Ugandans are really poor, recently, some officers at Mubende Education Dept. attempted to levy just shs 8,000 per child in UPE Schools, the matter turned criminal in that parents have no where to get such money. Now, why should such impoverished people give votes to one who gives them a free T - shirt which costs 15,000 to 20,000.

If Ugandans do not wake up, Museveni could influence his continued tenure beyond 75 years. Not with the poverty minds of the calibre of many of the MPs we have, more so, those ready to take NRM Caucus directives unchallenged.

 African Rural University is a specialized University at two levels:
1. It is a women only University;
2. The programme offered is "Technologies for Rural Transformation".

The University Council and staff members 2012.

Uganda Rural Development and Training Programme established the African Rural University as a strategic intervention to promote and grow the thinking. They realized that investing in women is of strategic importance.
