We shall for ever be grateful to the Nagenda family for the donation of three acres of land and shs 5m that was offered by the Presidential Advisor, John Nagenda.

“As we remembered and prayed for Late Malcolm Lee in November 2021, we were happy that we had got land and money to start projects by the hand of John Nagenda that will further develop our community,” Dr. Christine Kadama said.

Piece of the land that was donated is to house a Museum where the historical items that have a do with Namutamba community will be kept. “We want to collect all materials and make records focusing on the evolution of Namutamba. This will serve to provide lessons for future reference” , said Dr. Kadama.

The bigger part of the donated land will support a Community Business Centre to boost business and trade and contribute to the development initiatives of the area.

The death of Nagenda John is unfortunate as an encyclopedia regarding the roles played by the Malcolm Lee family in the development of Namutamba is no more!
