AS REGARDS UGANDA’S PRESIDENTIAL POLLS RESULTS 2016 …

Common sense dictates that: if Uganda’s Electoral Commission did not tally the figures on the Results Declaration Forms per Polling Centre with those of the  Biometric Voter Verification System (BVVS), then the results CANNOT be varied at all.

The (BVVS) machines were brought for a purpose.  Those who may have schemed their pre-determined election results took all of us for fools.  Unfortunately we are not.

The Presidential Poll results can only be varied if the electoral commission can clearly show the people of Uganda how they used the information by the (BVVS) otherwise, it does not make any sense even to take any case to court.  It is a matter of common sense that if the results by the (BVVS) were not used then the billions spent on them did not serve a purpose, as this clearly gave opportunity to have the vote stuffing.

WhatsApp an Innovation to embrace for Development.

The Least Developed Countries have one great advantage. While they still lag behind in technological innovations, at least their members can copy and use the technology as developed elsewhere.
WhatsApp is that type of technology, unfortunately, when it is misused ...
This technology has one great advantage of instantly communicating to a group that shares a certain interest and very cheaply.
A case in point is our progressive farmers who may need to know information that may range from: Prices of Farm inputs, the specific chemicals to apply (when and how), the markets and market prices to mention but a few. In Uganda, the use of this technology can greatly help farmers and one technical person many serve so many at a time.
It is also possible to remit Tips to Head teachers on say Careers & Guidance which information may then be relayed to students.
WhatsApp can greatly be used as a mobilizing tool for the Old Students of any school, and discussions may easily be undertaken without the need to hold official meetings.
How to overcome abuse of WhatsApp:
It is best to have at least 2 sets of phones such that at odd hours, the one with WhatsApp is switched off. One can also do away with those who may have bogus intentions.
Otherwise, in case you have not embraced WhatsApp, you are part of our past.

WE STILL HAVE CORPORAL PUNISHMENTS IN OUR SCHOOLS

According to the Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda, Corporal punishment is illegal and as such was banned in schools.
However, every other day you find children worried about being canned.
What is the way forward?

I AM A BIT DISTURBED THAT FDC HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO PRESENT A CASE TO COURT OVER THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS.

I have listened to the reasons advanced by FDC for not going to court.  I must say, as one who had wanted to contest but unfortunately the NRM failed my funding that, FDC ought to be more serious.

While on CBS 88.8FM before polling, Dr. Kizza Besigye surprised me when he said that we needed to liberate the country, and so, he appealed to those who were to supervise the voting as candidate representatives to sacrifice.  Surely, with the type of money NRM is known to dish, FDC should have taken this as a priority area so that at least shs 20,000 would have been organized in advance for this category.  Poor as many of the candidate representatives, you cannot expect them not to be induced by NRM money.

When I hear of excuses of not having all the declaration forms, I really cannot understand the whole game FDC was involved in.  When I put up an appeal for Shs 60bn to help me to be able to contest with President Museveni  I was not joking.  That is the type of cost you can plan for to effectively contest the presidency in Uganda.

Finally, I cannot buy the excuse that because the candidate has been under police custody, the party was unable to collect evidence.  This is the lack of seriousness.  Was the candidate to collect the evidence?

THE NRM GOVERNMENT IS NOT SERIOUS WITH RUNNING GOVERNMENT EFFICIENTLY.

In the New Vision of Friday, May 1, 2015, it was reported that: "The US President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief is to end its support for Uganda Blood Transfusion Services, leaving a huge funding gap, says UBTS director Dr. Dorothy Kyeyune".

It is really sad that a beggar economy which Uganda is can afford to spend the type of money the NRM Government did on a Presidential campaign for a man who had been in power for 3 decades.  The priorities are upside down.  What Government would otherwise have ability to spend on is not what it spends on, but what is better termed patronage, consumption and corruption related activities.

God, You need to come to the rescue of Uganda the would be Pearl of Africa.

KIWANUKA KITUUKA SAYS IT IS GREAT BEING APPRECIATED
