Imagine a person sets out, he writes his proposals, and because you are connected, you are at liberty to interfere with his communication and steal the money!
How do you expect such a country’s population to get out of poverty. Money is a curse. You get it that way, you can be sure that not much can be achieved.
Today, I would be employing people to do what I am currently doing on daily basis. I am convinced no single Ugandan has brought in so much money into the country when it is not through business deals. But you can imagine what I am going through during NRM time.
I don’t who told people in NRM that if a guy schemes to get money from outside Uganda, even when his proposals are there for all to see, that such a one is an enemy of the country!
I for one, I love Uganda. I feel very sorry for the poor people whose current poverty is NRM making. Every other day, there is a call for foreign investors into Uganda. Some of us identify people to support our projects, only for the connected to steal the money!
In the photos, I am working on structures where run off water will be trapped. You know, water works as a natural fertilizer and I also don’t want my soil to be carried away when it rains.
I fail to understand what really is going on in Uganda. May be God knows.
