VP Warns Radios on Negative Reports
VICE-President Prof. Gilbert Bukenya has said the electronic media has abused the freedom of expression by engaging in negative reporting and painting a negative image of the government.
In a speech read by the Minister in charge of General Duties, Prof. Mondo Kagonyera, Bukenya said the freedom of the media was frustrated by poor quality of programmes.
Kagonyera represented Bukenya during celebrations of Radio Uganda marking 50 years anniversary at the station's premises.
