HAVING TO ARRIVE IN TIME AGAINST ALL ODDS

Today's morning rain has reminded me of the problem I had getting to office one day in 1990. I was holding a strong room key at the bank. Somehow, taxi'a were difficult to get. There was no mobile telephone facility nor a special hire service at Kajjansi. It got to 8.00 am the time at which the bank's were opening to customers and I was yet to get transport. I knew customers could not get money without me as the bank had no way of accessing funds. Finally I arrived, told the General Manager what had happened and life went on.
