In
a country where a lot done is much more of mafia business, anybody would have
expected anything ranging from a fire gutting the building or a break-in into
the offices to confiscate or steal whatever is relevant to the court case. In the circumstances, I would have expected
the lawyers to have good backing up of their data/information as well as a fire
proof safe.
Uganda
is a sad story. The international
community looks on and wonders what type of bewitching Uganda benefited
from. They surely cannot
understand. Someone initially tells you
that he cannot hand over power, the other day that the oil discovered is his
business which he cannot leave to other party, the story is endless.
The
question: When will Ugandans get hope?
While the security people are camped at Dr. Kizza Besigye’s place
without giving him any respect given the support he enjoys, you then get to
hear that people who looked security operatives had broken into the offices of
Hon. Amama Mbabazi. This is the decay
Ugandans have to fight to change the face of the country. I have written before that the NRM
administration still have characteristics of guerillas. So, it is no surprise that some funny schemers
come up with whatever hopeless scheme and that is what markets Uganda!
