WHERE ARE NRM’S 10.2 MILLION VOTERS?

Speaking to The Observer by telephone on July 17, Ofwono Opondo, the deputy NRM spokesperson and executive director of the Uganda Media Centre, said the party secretariat informed President Museveni during a seven-hour Central Executive Committee, CEC, meeting at State House Entebbe on Thursday, that the new NRM membership stood at 10.2 million people.

The results of the Presidential Polls show that there were less than 9,800,000 people who cast their vote.  Now, where does NRM get those darling voters who had the courtesy to stay at home on 18th February 2016 which left candidate Museveni with about 5,700,000 (including invalid votes) ?

Our Voting system has a lot of loopholes more so many who are decision makers are devil driven with no morals worth talking about.  We told the NRM leaders that there is NO WAy they could have over 10 million voters (members who are voters) when the Electoral Commission had just over 15 million, yet when even the figure of 15 million is disputed.
