It does not look rational for Uganda to borrow money for COVID - 19 vaccines of people in Uganda aged 55 years and above.
Information available is that there are cheaper options to see the elderly stay alive in the COVID - 19 era.
It is wrong for Government to keep borrowing money now for people who will not contribute to repayment of the borrowed funds.
It is worth borrowing for youthful population which will contribute to repayment.
