The need for Teacher refresher courses in English Language in Uganda

For quite some time, I have come across teachers from Nursery school to secondary schools with a lot of problems as regards communication in English language.  This is not only in grammar but also simple spellings.  The problem here is that the teachers communicate wrongly to the children, yet the children take these to have mastered the stuff, hence copy them so.  This problem goes further up to post secondary level such that the students have poor expression in English.  This more often than not is witnessed in the write up some of these make.

The way forward is to undertake local refresher courses for these teachers which may be organized in holidays.
