Some of the operatives in Uganda may take this matter simple.  As far as I am concerned, what was done could be equated to shooting me dead!  I spend precious time working on these blogs.  It is okay for some people to be in President Museveni’s Government and others operatives in the same Government, and beneficiaries of big salaries and allowances, however, my intellect is not of the type where I can sit back and relax as a few people sit and abuse power to the extent of the suffering of the common person.  Forget about it.  I went to St. Mary’s College Kisubi, where I seriously read books,  and I was able to study in that school for 6 good years with the hope of a good future.  Little did I know that fellows I did not support as they waged a 5 year bush war which led to the death of many and suffering of thousands of the people of Uganda were later to victimize me!

I was in the then Nile bank and it was the then Minister of Energy under whose time a fraudulent account was opened in their bank, and for the obligations I undertook under the normal course of my duty, I was suspended indefinitely from the bank.  I forgot about it all, as even in courts of law justice was not given a chance.  I decided afterward to start a Community Based Organization (CBO) in the name of Good Governance Practice, unfortunately, my communications are all monitored, I send out communications and attachments removed, my emails have ceased to exist under circumstances that I don’t understand.

The question is: Why is the NRM Government terrorizing me?  If there is any communication I make that Government does not agree to, why not make its position clear, and clarify if they think that I am wrong?  I have never been a fool, nor am I ready to just let a regime which does un-human things go on with the impunity without my comments. 

It surprised me to see that on or about Good Friday, my two blogs were no where and my email too!  Some people may take this as a joke however; it shows how low a country can sink if it can have operatives capable of deleting educative blogs.

I had worked for roughly a year on the two blogs, and the greater part of this work has been educative, where instead of drinking, I save time and type out useful work which adds value to the work of many people including researchers among others (local and international).  Just in the trickle of an eye someone removes my blogs.  I am not actually the loser, but Uganda which I help to get this information through my efforts including taking photos.

My humble appeal to people in authority in Uganda is simple; be transparent and follow the right rules, because power corrupts.

Alternatively, if you don’t want some of us in your country, why not tell us so?  This may help us get easy clearance for refuge status in countries that are politically mature.  It does not make sense for me to keep in a country where almost all my communication is interfered with and in the process some people wishing to contact me can not, those I communicate to don’t get the communication, etc.  Uganda is a beautiful country, but I see the better option as leaving it to regain my freedom!!
