8 MONTHS SO FAR LOST SINCE UGANDA GOT INTO THE EXCITEMENT OF ELECTIVE POLITICS: WHAT IS THE WAY FORWARD?

By October 2015, the country was in mood for the start of elective politics. Since then, the business climate has been negatively impacted on given the uncertainty of the outcome. It has been the experience of such weather that has seen roads washed away and generally minimal returns from tax collections.
Uganda has serious debt obligations to service given the cost of funds borrowed to get infrastructural undertakings. If resources from good business are not realized, this will be at the expense of development and social service delivery.
Time is now to get strategies that can fine tune businesses as well as get people to spend little time on politicking.
The key players in this are:
1. His Excellence the President of Uganda.
2. The Prime Minister,
3. Religious Leaders,
4. Civil society players
5. The East African Community
6. The donors.
