The ‘wave’ as it is called has brought in many new faces in Local Council positions. Many unfortunately are youth without any experience of how local governments work. Many have been good at blaming others not knowing that even when the Council has good plans, resources allocation from the Central Government plays a big role in failure in fulfilling a number of planned projects.
This time round, the new people in local government have first to learn what they are expected of. Secondly, they have to learn to rationalize and endeavor to deliver with merger resources from the Center.
At sometime, they will appreciate that the people they were putting much blame on also had challenges.
