Brenda casting her vote
Unity of purpose
has greatly contributed to the victory of Brenda Nabukenya in the Luweero Woman
MP contest. This should serve as a big
lesson to the opposition. Had the
opposition not united to front many people to monitor/supervise the exercise,
chances that Nabukenya would have won with a smaller margin or even lost the
contest cannot be ruled out. The
opposition needs to agree on how they can place candidates the way Nabukenya’s
formula has worked. Finally, there
should be a joint Presidential candidate who should not be any one of the Party
Presidents. Short of this type of
strategy, expect the NRM to remain on top.
